MORE ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Thuto-Ke-Maatla
The school was established in 1984 at Emfihlweni section as the 4th biggest secondary school in Tembisa under the tutelage of Miss Mapogo. In 1985 they moved to the current building under a new principal, Mr Gerber. In 1986 Mr Brink took over, and subsequently Mr De Vos in 1987. Thereafter Mr Phalatsi led until 2012 when he retired. Mr Ramoshaba took the baton and ran with it until 2021, and he then passed it to Mr Malinga in 2022, who is the current principal.

Always dedicated and devoted
Our school was officially gazetted as a School of Specialization in 2024 by the Honourable MEC Matome Chiloane, marking a significant milestone in our journey. Prior to this, we successfully hosted our best-ever launch on 26 October 2023, showcasing our vision and capabilities. In the same year, we proudly participated in the first GDE Schools of Specialization Festival on 5 October 2023, where we achieved an impressive 3rd place, highlighting our commitment to excellence.
